Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for their customer support platform and new AI-enhanced capabilities. You will shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for products serving over 25,000 businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Define ideal customer profiles and target audiences for the helpdesk platform, identifying pain points and purchase drivers
  • Own core messaging and drive cross-functional alignment across all customer touchpoints, from website to sales materials
  • Build and launch the external narrative for AI-integrated customer support tools, establishing category leadership
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to communicate product roadmap and build customer confidence
  • Create sales enablement materials that teams actually use, working closely with GTM organizations to ensure effective delivery
  • Conduct deep customer research, sitting with support teams to understand evaluation and adoption patterns
  • Lead product launches and go-to-market initiatives that drive awareness and pipeline growth
  • Produce high-quality marketing assets including web pages, sales decks, narratives, and launch materials

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a hybrid strategist-storyteller-technologist who moves fluidly between customer insight, product detail, competitive analysis, and creative expression.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally B2B SaaS with a track record of positioning complex products
  • End-to-end ownership of a core product area, from ICP development through launches and field enablement
  • Success in fast-moving environments where product velocity outpaces traditional marketing cycles
  • Customer retention or expansion experience is a strong plus

Communication Excellence:

  • Exceptional written communication skills with ability to craft crisp briefs, sharp narratives, and alignment memos
  • Strong editorial judgment distinguishing meaningful positioning from empty marketing language
  • Willingness to challenge vague claims and drive specificity in messaging

Technical Engagement:

  • Deep product curiosity—you read documentation, use the product extensively, and understand the technology
  • Genuine interest in AI capabilities and how they transform product experiences
  • Fluent use of AI tools in your own workflow to increase speed and quality

Strategic Execution:

  • Ability to execute strategy personally rather than delegating—you take it through to the final asset
  • Strong independent judgment on high-stakes initiatives
  • Systems thinking to build reusable messaging frameworks, not just one-off materials
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills that build trust and elevate team effectiveness

Personal Attributes:

  • Ambitious and competitive mindset with high standards and market-leading goals
  • Confident decision-making that optimizes for progress over consensus
  • Intellectually curious with continuous learning about AI developments
  • Creative sensibility that understands emotional resonance
  • Impatience with inefficiency and comfort with ambiguity
