Graduate Operations Supervisor (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential logistics organization, is seeking a Graduate Operations Supervisor to lead operations at their semi-automated fulfillment center in Potsdam, Brandenburg. In this role, you will:

• Lead and coach a team of shift leads and warehouse associates (150+ team members), serving as both mentor and role model with a genuine focus on people development
• Manage shift operations, maintaining oversight of the fulfillment center, prioritizing daily tasks, and ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched on time
• Split your time between hands-on warehouse floor leadership (4 days per week) and strategic planning in the office (1 day per week)
• Drive process optimization by developing and implementing your own logistics projects to continuously improve operational efficiency
• Take proactive ownership of issues and opportunities beyond your immediate area of responsibility, demonstrating initiative and cross-functional thinking
• Work flexible shifts including early morning (6:00-14:30) and late (14:30-23:00), with Saturday coverage as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Passion for logistics with ideally some exposure to warehouse operations through internships or working student positions
• Fluency in both German and English for effective communication across the organization
• Exceptional self-motivation and proactive mindset—you identify opportunities independently and take ownership without being asked
• Genuine intrinsic interest in people development, with empathy and strong interpersonal skills to motivate and grow your team
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends as part of continuous operations
• Recent graduate energy combined with readiness to step into immediate leadership responsibility
