Graduate Operations Supervisor (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing logistics company operating a partially automated fulfillment center in the Berlin area. As a Graduate Operations Supervisor, you will step directly into a leadership role with real accountability from day one.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead and coach a team of approximately 5 shift leads and over 150 warehouse associates, serving as both mentor and role model through genuine interest in people development
• Shift Management: Maintain operational oversight across the fulfillment center, prioritize daily tasks, and ensure all orders are processed and dispatched on schedule
• Operational Excellence: Spend four days per week actively managing operations on the warehouse floor, plus one day per week on strategic planning and analysis in the office
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement your own logistics optimization projects, driving continuous improvement initiatives based on your observations and ideas
• Proactive Ownership: Take initiative beyond your immediate area of responsibility, identifying opportunities and taking action to solve problems across the operation

What We're Looking For

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Passion for logistics operations with ideally some warehouse experience gained through internships or working student positions
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Flexibility to work two-shift rotation (6:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00, including Saturdays)
• Exceptionally high level of self-motivation and initiative—you spot opportunities independently and take ownership proactively
• Genuine, intrinsic interest in people; you are empathetic, approachable, and energized by coaching and developing team members
• Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced fulfillment environment while also thinking strategically about process optimization
