Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential renewable energy SaaS organization seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their in-house development team. In this role, you will:
- Shape the entire software development process from requirements analysis through implementation, testing, and deployment
- Plan and design the technical implementation of new product features
- Ensure high quality through your implementations, code reviews, and creative solutions that lead to satisfied customers
- Serve as a technical point of contact for the development team and Product Owner on technical questions
- Share your knowledge and empower colleagues to tackle new challenges
- Work autonomously on tickets while supporting other team members, particularly on code structure and software architecture questions
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a developer with substantial experience and strong technical foundations:
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on web applications
- Excellent programming skills and outstanding technical understanding
- Strong knowledge of the following tech stack: Django, Litestar, Redis, PostgreSQL
- Very good understanding of software architectures
- Ideally, knowledge in DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes) and managed clouds (Azure, AWS)
- Interest in staying current with trends and state-of-the-art technologies
- Fluent German required (company language); comfortable writing technical documentation in English
- Passion for contributing to sustainable energy solutions
This position is available in Frankfurt a. M., Freiburg, or fully remote within Germany. Full-time or part-time arrangements are possible.
