Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Platform Engineer to shape their central development platform in a modern hybrid multi-cloud environment.
In this role, you will:
- Design and continuously develop an internal developer platform in a hybrid multi-cloud environment
- Create standardized golden paths and automated self-services that support development teams in their daily software development processes
- Optimize developer experience in collaboration with development teams and reduce unnecessary technical complexity
- Integrate security, quality, and compliance requirements directly into platform services and CI/CD processes
- Design and optimize the software development lifecycle from commit to production deployment
- Establish FinOps practices and create transparency around cloud resource usage and costs
What We're Looking For
- Several years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud engineering
- Proven track record of designing, building, or significantly evolving internal developer platforms
- Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud-native software development and ideally hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Hands-on understanding of concepts including golden paths, self-services, infrastructure as code, and developer experience
- Strong conceptual thinking, abstraction capabilities, and structured working approach
- Confident communication skills with development teams and various technical stakeholders
- Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
