Head of Integrity Data and Innovations (m-f-d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential international sustainability organization in their search for a strategic leader to spearhead integrity data analytics and innovation. This role sits at the intersection of data science, risk management, and emerging technology, driving evidence-based decision-making to strengthen global assurance systems.

Based in Bonn, Germany with hybrid flexibility, this is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offered as a two-year contract with potential for extension based on performance. The role requires sporadic international travel and offers 30 vacation days annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics and innovation strategy aligned with organizational integrity priorities
• Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritization of integrity data products and capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes
• Lead the innovation portfolio, managing initiatives from opportunity identification and pilot design through implementation and adoption
• Oversee integrity analytics to identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks, translating complex datasets into actionable insights
• Identify and prioritize applications of advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, geospatial intelligence, and emerging technologies to address integrity risks
• Lead development and continuous improvement of data products, dashboards, analytical tools, and reporting capabilities
• Ensure effective integration of certification, transaction, geospatial, and external data sources to strengthen analysis and reporting
• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making, evidence-based innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning across the organization
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal functions, technology providers, research institutions, NGOs, academia, and assurance organizations
• Communicate integrity insights, analyses, and evidence to relevant stakeholders with transparency
• Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing multidisciplinary team with expertise in data analytics, innovation management, product ownership, and emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

• Advanced university degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, or related field
• 8-10+ years of experience in data analytics, innovation, integrity, compliance, or related fields
• Proven track record leading innovation programs, building data-enabled capabilities, and driving organizational change
• Experience managing innovation portfolios, including piloting, evaluating, and scaling new technologies and methodologies
• Strong expertise in data analytics, data management, visualization, and reporting tools
• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Owner, or strategic lead for data-driven capabilities and solutions
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate emerging technologies, business challenges, and risk/compliance needs into practical solutions
• Experience integrating and analyzing diverse datasets, including geospatial, sustainability, and risk-related data
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies, with experience applying them to risk or integrity challenges
• Ability to build strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, innovation networks, and external stakeholders
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
• Experience working in multicultural and global environments with demonstrated cultural awareness and commitment to sustainability values
• Data, Product Management, Agile, or related certifications are advantageous
