Technical Writer / Quality Assurance Specialist – Remote – in USD

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international organization seeking a Technical Writer / Quality Assurance Specialist to work remotely from the United States. This role requires availability during New York business hours (minimum 6 hours per day during EST working hours).

You will collaborate with technical leads, business analysts, and developers to:

• Document end-to-end traceability of business requirements in SharePoint, tracking the full history of software features and assessing the impact of changes
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including use-case documents, functional specifications, UI design/wireframes, integration guides, API developer guides, user guides, and tutorials
• Ensure documentation follows established guidelines for branding and accessibility
• Work within an agile team environment to ensure quality of complex web applications built on the MEAN stack
• Develop, modify, and execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs for systems in development
• Identify potential operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively
• Complete tasks through a Kanban process with progress tracked in daily team meetings during EST morning hours

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus)
• 2+ years of hands-on technical writing experience with a proven track record creating written documentation, requirement documents, use-case diagrams, functional specifications, and user guides/training materials
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience for complex web application platforms
• Experience designing, developing, managing, and executing test cases, preferably using QA management tools
• Proven experience with test automation using Selenium and ability to write scripts and perform API testing
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• English language proficiency in both oral and written communication
• Availability to work minimum 6 hours per day during New York business hours (EST)
