About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking a Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth in Japan. Our client develops advanced optical and imaging solutions used by physicians and surgeons in critical medical procedures. This remote position offers the opportunity to expand market share in an established territory while developing new business opportunities across the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and expand market share for medical solutions across the Japanese market
  • Generate new business opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Strengthen opportunity management and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting through CRM systems
  • Execute strategic sales activities to acquire new deals with healthcare facilities and medical professionals
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and business partners
  • Collaborate with sales management and colleagues to achieve team objectives
  • Conduct domestic business travel (10-20%) primarily within Tokyo, Chiba, and Saitama prefectures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience (industry background flexible)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and business partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with medical device manufacturers or distributors highly valued
  • Background supporting surgical procedures in surgery or ophthalmology fields
  • English proficiency for email correspondence and online training participation
