Clinical Research Scientist II

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential mental health technology organization in their search for a Clinical Research Scientist II. This fully remote position combines clinical research and scientific analysis with research program management, offering the opportunity to conduct rigorous academic research while supporting the operational execution of clinical studies. You'll design and execute research that translates real-world clinical data into actionable insights, publish peer-reviewed work, and coordinate study activities from protocol initiation through close-out.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and publish novel, high-impact academic research in peer-reviewed journals
• Design and execute comprehensive program evaluations for clinical tools and training initiatives
• Support development and maintenance of detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for clinical studies
• Track and report study progress against key milestones; identify risks and support mitigation plans
• Coordinate cross-functional study timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure on-time project execution
• Support protocol adherence and compliance activities, including IRB submissions and study protocol management
• Develop clear customer-facing and internal assets that translate research findings into compelling clinical and business insights

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed mental health clinician with PhD or PsyD in psychology or related field
• Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed academic research, including first-author publications
• Fluency in a statistical programming language (R or Python)
• Experience supporting clinical research studies or research programs, including coordinating timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams with appropriate prioritization and escalation
• Initiative and ability to self-direct scientific work while collaborating effectively on program-management activities

Preferred Experience:

• Professional experience working within mental health technology or employee benefits sectors

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $120,000 - $140,000 USD annually. Final compensation is determined by factors including experience, location, and internal equity considerations.
