About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization in Neuss, Nordrhein-Westfalen, seeking a Team Leader for Order Picking and Warehouse Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide your team while actively participating in daily operations. You'll work in a structured 3-shift environment, ensuring smooth workflows, coordinating tasks, and maintaining quality standards in a temperature-controlled facility.

This full-time position offers the chance to lead from the front, combining people management with operational execution in a growing logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise your team across shift operations, serving as a working example
• Actively participate in order picking, combining items, and packaging goods
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and other material handling vehicles
• Coordinate and delegate tasks based on team members' capabilities and workload
• Plan shift schedules, assignments, and daily priorities
• Identify operational disruptions early and implement corrective measures
• Optimize workflow processes to ensure smooth daily operations
• Monitor quality of picked orders and ensure accuracy standards are met
• Document relevant operations and maintain clear records
• Work in cooled warehouse areas (4–6 degrees Celsius) as required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading and supervising teams in an operational setting
• Practical background in warehouse, logistics, or order picking environments
• Proficiency operating forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Very good German language skills (required for team communication and documentation)
• Reliable, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and sense of responsibility
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to motivate others
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation system
