Special Education Case Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential K-12 education organization seeking a Special Education Case Manager to join their virtual team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States.

In this role, you'll deliver specialized instruction in an online environment, manage compliance documentation, and ensure students with disabilities receive the individualized support outlined in their IEPs. You'll work directly with students, families, and related service providers to advance learning outcomes and maintain rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliant IEPs, progress reports, and state-required special education documentation
• Facilitate and lead collaborative meetings including annual IEP reviews
• Coordinate with parents and related service staff to ensure students receive appropriate therapies and accommodations
• Modify curriculum, lessons, and assessments according to IEP specifications
• Collect data and work samples to monitor progress toward IEP goals and objectives
• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
• Maintain grade books, document parent contacts, and analyze student data to inform instruction
• Support families with curricular issues and basic virtual classroom troubleshooting
• Prepare students for standardized assessments and ensure inclusion in general education settings
• Travel up to 20% for professional development, student testing, or school requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
• Arizona Fingerprint Card
• Ability to clear background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret student data and use it to drive instructional decisions
• Capacity to work independently 40+ hours per week from a professional home office
• Receptiveness to regular coaching and feedback
• Adaptability with new technologies and teaching platforms

Preferred:

• Experience working with K-12 students
• Background in virtual or traditional classroom instruction
• Familiarity with online learning platforms
• Experience supporting adults and children with educational technology

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $49,100–$52,000 annually. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. The client offers health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off for qualifying employees.
