Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of data-driven strategies for managing customers experiencing payment difficulties
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into complex datasets to surface actionable insights for decision-making
  • Develop and maintain reporting suites using modern BI tools and technology platforms
  • Design empathic, data-informed approaches for supporting vulnerable customers
  • Create strategies to identify and prevent both first-party and third-party fraud
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning models and policies that drive sophisticated credit decisions
  • Proactively identify new areas of opportunity within credit risk management
  • Challenge existing KPIs, objectives, and strategic approaches with data-backed recommendations
  • Communicate complex data concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Build collaborative relationships across Collections, Operations, Technology, Finance, and other departments

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Excellent SQL skills with demonstrated ability to query and manipulate large datasets
  • Strong drive to solve business problems using data and analytics
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analytics within a consumer-facing business environment
  • Ability to translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple business functions

Desirable:

  • Proficiency with the Python data science stack (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib)
  • Familiarity with Git for version control
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or equivalent platforms
  • Knowledge of DBT (data build tool)
