Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology consulting firm seeking a Software Architect with deep Java and Angular expertise to join their team in Brazil. In this role, you will:
- Design and architect scalable applications using Java and Angular frameworks
- Lead the evolution of digital products across Web and Mobile platforms
- Define API design principles and implement RESTful architecture, gRPC, and development best practices
- Leverage AI to improve engineering productivity and scalability within development workflows
- Establish software performance, security, scalability, and quality standards
- Provide hands-on technical leadership while supporting the professional growth of team members
- Balance direct technical contributions with coordination and development of other architects
- Document APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
- Champion DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong Java background
- Demonstrated expertise designing and developing scalable applications using Java and Angular
- Practical experience with Agentic SDLC and track record of leveraging AI for engineering improvements
- Strong understanding of API design, RESTful architecture, gRPC, and development best practices
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation
- Proficiency with Git version control systems
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced English communication skills
- Hands-on leadership mindset with genuine interest in mentoring and developing team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Event-Driven Architectures
- Familiarity with Azure services (Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Storage)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies
- Background in cloud-native architectures
- Previous experience leading technical teams or architecture communities
