Overview

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst with expertise in charge routing and application support. This position plays a critical role in implementing, modifying, testing, and administering revenue cycle system applications. You'll serve as a key liaison between vendors, IT personnel, management, and end users to resolve system functionality questions and optimize billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Epic modules and applications related to Revenue Cycle, Claims Manager System, and billing interfaces
• Identify system requirements across base revenue cycle areas and perform comparative analysis of system design against user requirements
• Maintain system parameter tables including reference tables for ICD codes, payor plans, provider information, and procedures
• Serve as first point of contact for end-user issues related to information system performance across revenue cycle areas
• Research, document, and facilitate resolution to system issues reported by users
• Create ad hoc reports and application report templates for multiple operational purposes
• Review, test, and facilitate system updates while coordinating unit and integrated application testing
• Assist with development and testing of third-party systems related to billing charge files and master files
• Draft reference materials and support documentation for training courses to prepare staff for effective system use
• Participate in on-call responsibilities including early morning and evening hours to support 24x7 environments

What We're Looking For

• Education: Associate's Degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration
• Experience: Previous revenue cycle experience required
• Certifications: Epic Certification required within 2 months of hire
• Technical Skills: Strong application support background; must have experience with charge routing systems
• Knowledge: General understanding of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets
• Project Management: Understanding of project planning with ability to develop plans for small projects
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess end user needs and recommend system modifications
• Communication: Ability to effectively liaison between technical teams, vendors, management, and end users
• Availability: Willingness to participate in on-call rotation to support continuous operations
