About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential campervan rental organization seeking a Station Manager for their Duisburg location. This is an exciting opportunity to lead operations at a growing mobility services company that values teamwork, customer experience, and entrepreneurial thinking.
In this role, you'll oversee daily station operations, develop your team, manage fleet logistics, and ensure exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with central departments and international colleagues to implement and optimize processes while building a high-performing local team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the station in collaboration with central departments, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Implement and continuously improve existing standards for vehicle handovers, returns, and customer interactions
- Lead and develop your team with empathy, clear communication, and a supportive approach that promotes accountability and growth
- Recruit and build a talented team that shares your passion for customer service
- Oversee fleet management, monitor vehicle condition, and coordinate with local service partners
- Provide expert product consultation to customers, ensuring excellent experiences
- Collaborate with teams across multiple countries to share best practices and drive process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training, university degree in a relevant field, or comparable qualification
- At least 1–2 years professional experience, ideally in car rental, tourism, or similar industries; career changers welcome
- Some team leadership experience is a plus, but more importantly: the ability to communicate empathetically and create an environment that provides clarity, fosters development, and enables autonomous work
- Strong service and customer orientation with an open, friendly demeanor
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English language skills
- Valid Class B driver's license

Pay
