(Senior) Earth Observation Data Supplier Manager (f/m/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential geospatial analytics organization seeking a Senior Earth Observation Data Supplier Manager to join their growing team in Berlin. This hybrid role sits at the strategic intersection of data sourcing, supplier relationships, and operational planning, supporting a product that serves critical infrastructure monitoring needs globally.

You'll develop the Earth Observation data strategy in collaboration with product and commercial teams, manage relationships with satellite data providers, and ensure procurement decisions align with technical roadmap requirements. This is a hands-on position requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to develop and refine the organization's Earth Observation data strategy
• Support tasking planning and monitoring activities across product and commercial functions
• Screen and recommend satellite imagery products from existing and prospective operators based on coverage and product requirements
• Drive sourcing strategy for various remote sensing data types
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Earth Observation data suppliers and satellite operators
• Manage data contracts, SLAs, cost tracking, and usage monitoring
• Serve as primary liaison between internal teams (product, engineering, commercial) and external data partners
• Utilize satellite tasking and ordering platforms, GIS tools, and collaboration software to coordinate across teams

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in commercial Earth Observation data, remote sensing, or the geospatial industry
• Strong understanding of satellite imagery products, the commercial EO data landscape, and typical use cases
• Hands-on experience with or demonstrated interest in satellite tasking workflows and acquisition planning
• Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage external stakeholder relationships
• Contract management and reporting capabilities
• Fluency in English (required)
• Strong project management and communication skills
• German language skills are a plus
