Zelh is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR/AP) Specialist for a remote position managing invoicing and payment operations. The Opportunity

Join Zelh as an AR/AP Specialist in a fully remote role that combines customer billing oversight, vendor payment management, and financial reporting. You'll operate with flexible hours while maintaining core overlap during U.S. Eastern Time mornings, bringing order and accuracy to our day-to-day accounting operations. This is a chance to take ownership of critical financial processes in a logistics-focused company where your work directly supports the business.

What You'll Do

• Generate and deliver customer invoices with speed and precision.
• Process payments to freight carriers and third-party vendors.
• Track customer account balances and pursue collection of outstanding amounts.
• Examine invoices, confirm payment terms, and validate supporting documentation.
• Reconcile accounts for both customers and carriers to identify discrepancies.
• Liaise with the U.S. office on billing questions, payment updates, and account inquiries.
• Resolve invoice and payment issues quickly and thoroughly.
• Maintain current, well-organized financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and additional accounting tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Background in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage accounting (required).
• Strong working knowledge of invoicing workflows and payment processing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Professional English writing and speaking ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to work independently.
