Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud professional to lead end-to-end delivery, administration, and optimization of marketing automation solutions. This techno-functional role combines strong technical development skills with functional marketing expertise to enable seamless collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements for marketing automation and customer engagement initiatives
- Translating business needs into scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
- Leading campaign planning, customer journey design, segmentation, and personalization strategies
- Configuring and managing SFMC modules including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, and Mobile Studio
- Developing dynamic and personalized communications using AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and SQL
- Building and maintaining automations, triggered campaigns, data extensions, and reusable templates
- Integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with CRM systems, APIs, external databases, and third-party applications
- Managing subscriber data, segmentation logic, suppression lists, and audience targeting
- Executing and monitoring email and multi-channel marketing campaigns with QA testing and validation
- Analyzing campaign performance metrics and recommending optimization strategies
- Serving as the bridge between technical and business teams
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and legacy ExactTarget platform
- Strong techno-functional expertise in marketing automation platforms
- Proven experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Email Studio
- Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and API integrations
- Experience with Salesforce CRM integrations and customer data management
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and campaign execution
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with marketing standards
- Experience supporting data migration, synchronization, and ETL processes
