About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential environmental engineering firm seeking a Regional Manager, Civil/Site Engineering to work remotely from Central New Jersey. This is a strategic hire designed to support regional growth in the New Jersey market.

This position is ideal for a senior-level civil/site engineer who has built technical credibility through hands-on work and is ready to transition into a client-facing, growth-oriented role. You'll act as a senior technical representative in-market, helping expand presence, win new projects, and support client relationships while working remotely with close integration to internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical representative in the Central New Jersey market
• Support regional growth initiatives and help expand market presence
• Build and maintain client relationships across the state
• Participate in business development activities to win new work
• Provide technical leadership on civil and site engineering projects
• Collaborate with internal teams based in Pennsylvania for project execution
• Attend regular integration meetings including weekly, monthly, and quarterly sessions (approximately 15 standing meetings annually)
• Maintain clear communication with executive leadership
• Balance independent remote work with team collaboration

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus
• Approximately 8+ years of professional experience at mid- to senior-level
• Hands-on technical experience including civil/site design, grading, and Civil 3D
• Career progression that demonstrates having "come up through the ranks"
• Demonstrated technical credibility to support client-facing activities
• Highly self-driven and self-starting with strong initiative
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to balance client relationships, technical execution, and business development
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Central New Jersey
