Business Development Representative – UK

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization expanding their presence in the UK market. Our client is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their Commercial Development team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career to receive hands-on coaching from experienced leaders while building a strong foundation in B2B SaaS sales.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Create opportunities with CFOs and Finance leaders, generating interest through multi-channel outreach strategies
• Conduct thorough market research to identify and qualify potential customers in the UK market
• Maintain accurate customer data records and work collaboratively to optimize commercial processes and improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel
• Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to support the full sales cycle and maintain a clear understanding of pipeline dynamics
• Master various prospecting and sales techniques under the guidance of senior team members and leadership

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree completed and/or at least 6 months of experience in a sales-related role, preferably in SaaS or fintech environments (sales representative, intern, or working student experience welcomed)
• Driven mindset: motivated by success, consistently push beyond targets, competitive nature with persistence in facing challenges
• Expert communication skills: ability to empathize, tailor messaging effectively, read social cues, build rapport quickly, and articulate value clearly and persuasively

• Adaptive problem-solving: think on your feet, handle objections strategically, navigate uncertainty with confidence, find innovative ways to overcome obstacles
