About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential automotive technology client seeking a UI/UX Design Intern for Spring 2027 in Mountain View, California. This is a full-time internship position starting in January 2027, offering hands-on experience in user interface and user experience design within an innovative product development environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design team in creating user-centered interface concepts and prototypes
- Contribute to the development of wireframes, mockups, and interactive design solutions
- Participate in user research activities and translate insights into design improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers
- Assist in maintaining design systems and documentation
- Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
- Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects and problem-solving approach
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Enthusiasm for innovation and emerging technologies
