About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded Series A technology company in the data infrastructure space. Our client is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead marketing execution across digital channels, automation systems, and campaign operations. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the head of marketing.

This position offers the opportunity to own the complete digital marketing engine for a growing organization with hundreds of enterprise customers. You'll work across the full marketing stack while using AI-native tools and automation to scale your impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the marketing automation platform (HubSpot): segments, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, and integrations across the tech stack
  • Drive search and answer-engine visibility through technical SEO, on-page optimization, structured data, site architecture, backlink strategy, and optimization for AI answer engines
  • Manage email marketing infrastructure: subscription management, newsletter scheduling, segmentation, deliverability, and performance optimization
  • Coordinate blog publishing workflow and distribution across syndication channels, communities, and social platforms
  • Manage day-to-day social media presence, repurposing long-form content and growing reach across relevant channels
  • Build and maintain analytics and reporting across GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and SEO tools
  • Execute end-to-end digital events: webinars, registration workflows, promotion, reminders, and follow-up
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person conference presence in North America, Europe, and occasionally India

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years in digital marketing (6+ preferred), with substantial startup or small team experience
  • Hands-on experience configuring and owning marketing automation platforms, not just working within existing setups
  • Deep email marketing infrastructure experience: ESP selection or implementation, database migration, compliant opt-in flows, and deliverability troubleshooting
  • Technical SEO expertise you've implemented directly: schema markup, site architecture, crawl/index health, plus current knowledge of answer-engine optimization
  • Self-sufficient with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and enterprise SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)
  • Practical fluency building and running workflows with agentic AI tools and scheduled automations
  • Strong operational reliability for recurring work that must execute on schedule
  • Availability for reasonable overlap with both US and India time zones

Preferred experience:

  • Paid acquisition management (Google Ads, LinkedIn, retargeting)
  • Marketing to technical or developer audiences, particularly in the data ecosystem
  • Comfort with git-based publishing workflows (markdown, pull requests)
  • Light editing of technical content
  • Managing external agencies or contractors

Important notes: This is not a content writing role—you'll manage and distribute content created by others. This is not a design role. Product-technical knowledge is not required, though familiarity with software development and data engineering is valued. As the team scales, this role is expected to grow into team leadership; candidates seeking to remain individual contributors long-term should consider whether this aligns with their goals.
