Learning & Development Partner

Trupanion is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Partner to support our Seattle-based workforce in a remote role. This is your opportunity to design and deliver learning experiences that develop our team, strengthen our culture, and drive organizational success.

The Opportunity

As a Learning & Development Partner at Trupanion, you'll be the strategic backbone of our people development efforts. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to identify capability gaps, build engaging learning programs, and create pathways for employee growth. This role shapes how our teams develop skills, build confidence, and advance their careers—directly impacting retention, engagement, and performance.

Core Duties

• Assess organizational learning needs through conversations with managers, individual contributors, and leadership; translate insights into actionable learning strategies
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs including onboarding, technical skills, leadership development, and professional development initiatives
• Facilitate group training sessions, workshops, and coaching conversations; adapt delivery methods to diverse learning styles and remote environments
• Partner with managers to support employee development planning, goal-setting, and performance growth conversations
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; iterate and improve programs based on outcomes
• Maintain learning resources, documentation, and training materials; stay current with L&D best practices and tools

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in learning and development, instructional design, training delivery, or related HR/people development role
• Strong facilitation and communication skills; ability to engage diverse audiences and explain complex concepts clearly
• Experience designing or delivering training programs in professional settings
• Proficiency with learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and standard productivity tools
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with leaders at all levels and influence without authority
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field
