Technical Product Lead – AI Neobank App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client building AI-powered financial services across Southeast Asia. They are seeking a Technical Product Lead to own a complete product vertical within their regulated financial platform—spanning payments, remittance, insurance, wealth management, and trading capabilities.

This is a remote position based in Singapore, working with a distributed international team across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end: strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery
• Shape technical architecture with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive product trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience
• Build regulatory requirements into product workflows including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI technologies where they genuinely improve outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products that integrate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party partners
• Align cross-functional teams—Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance—around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Experience working closely with engineers; ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability assessment, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working in a global, distributed team

Preferred experience:

• Engineering or highly technical product background
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
