Technical Product Lead – AI Investing App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our talent team is searching for a Technical Product Lead to own a critical product vertical within an AI-powered investing platform. This is a remote role based in the Netherlands, working with a distributed international team.

This position sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical architecture, and regulatory compliance. You'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of products that move real money—where reliability, audit trails, and compliance are not optional features but foundational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical from strategy through launch, including metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery execution
• Shape technical design alongside engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Navigate complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Embed regulatory requirements directly into product design, covering KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI technologies strategically where they improve outcomes, with robust evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products that depend on external partners, including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party integrations
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around clear product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Experience working closely with engineers, with ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs
• Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working effectively in a distributed, international team

Preferred:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
