(Senior) FP&A Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction technology organization in their search for a Senior FP&A Manager to join their Finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial reporting and strategic planning support.

As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating FP&A activities during month-end closing and preparing accurate group-level reporting, including variance analyses
• Maintaining reporting structures across sites, cost centers and projects to ensure consistent and reliable data
• Supporting the preparation of quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, including tracking performance against targets
• Maintaining rolling financial models and providing insight into drivers, risks and opportunities
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of long-term financial planning at group level
• Performing financial modelling for key pipeline projects, including cost development, working capital requirements, milestones, and expected returns
• Assisting in preparing investor-related materials, including KPI reporting, project reports and financial statements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, financial consulting, audit, or similar finance roles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Good understanding of financial statements, cashflow mechanics and forecasting principles
• Comfortable working with multiple data sources and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Experience with SAP (S/4 HANA), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar ERP/planning tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and reliably
• Business fluent in English; German is a plus
