About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization in their search for a skilled Field Service Technician to support banking and retail systems across the Paderborn region. Our talent team is seeking professionals who combine technical expertise with customer-facing skills to deliver on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services.

This role offers the autonomy of field-based work while being part of a collaborative service team. You will be the technical expert our client's customers rely on, working independently to resolve issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain banking and retail technology systems including automated teller machines, point-of-sale terminals, and self-service checkout solutions at customer locations
• Provide customer-oriented technical support and consultation on-site
• Document all service activities using mobile applications and digital tools
• Manage your own schedule and service routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Respond to service requests with appropriate urgency and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training in IT, system electronics, or comparable qualification
• Prior field service experience is highly desirable
• Strong technical aptitude and practical hands-on skills
• Customer-focused approach with ability to work independently
• Reliability, initiative, communication skills, and team collaboration abilities
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level); English proficiency is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours as service demands require
• Valid Class B driving license for Germany
