Sr Enterprise Account Exec, Cybersecurity (Education)

ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Cybersecurity (Education) for a full-time remote position serving the Bridgeport, Connecticut market. About the Role

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive focused on Cybersecurity solutions for the Education sector, you'll lead complex, high-value sales engagements with colleges, universities, and school district systems. You'll build strategic partnerships, develop long-term account strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to education institution leaders navigating cybersecurity challenges and digital transformation initiatives. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role that combines deep sales expertise with knowledge of the unique security needs facing today's educational organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close enterprise-level cybersecurity deals with education institutions across your territory
• Develop and execute account strategies for designated strategic accounts, driving revenue growth and customer success
• Lead discovery conversations to understand institutional pain points and position ServiceNow solutions as strategic fits
• Manage complex sales cycles, including executive alignment, technical assessments, and proposal development
• Collaborate with solutions engineers, customer success teams, and ServiceNow executives to ensure customer alignment and deal closure
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, providing accurate forecasting and regular business reviews
• Represent ServiceNow at education industry events and conferences to expand market presence and network within the sector

Who We're Looking For

• 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of closing six and seven-figure deals
• Demonstrated success selling to the education sector or large institutional organizations
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, industry trends, and compliance requirements (FERPA, HIPAA familiarity a plus)
• Exceptional consultative selling skills with the ability to influence C-suite and IT decision-makers
• Experience managing complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders and lengthy decision cycles
• Strategic account management capabilities and ability to develop multi-year account plans
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional sales experience and education sector expertise
