Rotork is looking for a Workshop / Field Technician (Electrical Service Technician) based in Gladstone, QLD. Join our team in this full-time position where you'll provide expert electrical service and support to customers across our region.

Position Summary

As our Workshop / Field Technician (Electrical Service Technician), you'll play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our customers' electrical equipment. Working from our Gladstone workshop and visiting customer sites as needed, you'll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure systems operate reliably. Your hands-on expertise and customer focus will be essential to delivering the professional service our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in customer equipment and systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical apparatus and components
• Conduct testing and quality checks to verify system performance
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Provide on-site service support at customer locations as required
• Complete detailed service records and maintain accurate documentation
• Follow all electrical safety standards and workplace safety protocols
• Contribute to workshop efficiency and support team operations

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and equipment
• Practical experience with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service ability
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious approach
• Current driver's licence for travel to customer sites
• Electrical trade qualifications or relevant certifications valued
