Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking a skilled accounting professional to support their finance team. In this role, you will contribute to day-to-day financial accounting operations and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will take ownership of accurate bookkeeping and posting of relevant business transactions, ensuring reliable and timely financial reporting alongside the team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting ongoing financial accounting operations
• Preparing and posting month-end closing entries
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Managing fixed asset accounting
• Independently preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assisting with financial analysis and reporting
• Serving as point of contact for internal departments, auditors, and tax advisors
• Contributing to process improvement and optimization initiatives within the accounting function

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings:

• Completed commercial training with Bilanzbuchhalter certification or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and balance sheet preparation
• Strong knowledge of monthly and annual closing procedures
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems
• Structured, meticulous, and independent working style
• Team spirit, initiative, and sense of responsibility
• Good English language skills
