This part-time Warehouse Associate I role offers an opportunity to join REXEL's supply chain team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a warehouse associate, you'll play a key role in keeping our distribution operations running smoothly. This position involves hands-on warehouse work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact our ability to serve customers efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and accurately process incoming shipments and inventory
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Stack, store, and arrange products safely on shelves and in designated storage areas
- Inspect merchandise for damage or defects and report discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks
- Assist with warehouse organization and housekeeping standards
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
Who We're Looking For
- Reliable individual with strong attention to detail and accuracy in a warehouse setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform manual warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
