Projekttechniker/in Blasformen (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Project Technician for Blow Molding operations based in Bammental. In this role, you will:

• Support production facilities in optimizing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, with particular focus on extrusion blow molding machines
• Implement measures to prevent or reduce equipment downtime
• Lead projects for repairs, overhauls, and relocation of production equipment; create schedules and cost plans
• Perform hands-on work during assembly, disassembly, and repair of machine components
• Clean and inspect components, obtain and coordinate vendor quotes as needed
• Coordinate internal and external suppliers to ensure proper work execution and minimize downtime in alignment with production planning
• Evaluate and document machine conditions, derive necessary actions, and maintain corresponding databases
• Create technical specifications and systematic maintenance plans
• Conduct training sessions in repair and maintenance procedures
• Develop service instructions and technical documentation

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable technical qualification
• Strong planning and manual skills with experience in assembly, disassembly, and repair of production equipment and automation technology, including international service assignments
• Comprehensive knowledge of plastic processing machinery, particularly extrusion blow molding machines, plus foundational understanding of the extrusion blow molding process
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drive technology as well as mechanical processing and heat treatment methods
• Experience in planning, managing, executing, and documenting projects involving external suppliers, plus preventive maintenance expertise
• Proficient in MS Office with strong German and English language skills, particularly technical terminology
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured work approach with strong safety awareness
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40% of annual working time)
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and learning capacity
