Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential B2B services organization seeking a Sales Director to lead their commercial operations. In this role, you will architect and execute the full sales engine, managing both inbound and outbound functions while driving the customer journey from first contact through retention.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Building and developing the sales team across inbound, outbound, and client retention functions
- Establishing and owning team targets, metrics, and structured execution processes
- Driving customer satisfaction initiatives and managing relationships with key accounts
- Overseeing CRM systems and optimizing the complete customer journey
- Developing market insights to inform product strategy, pricing decisions, and commercial direction
- Managing escalated client relationships and resolving critical issues
- Implementing AI-driven workflow improvements and automation across the sales function
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a commercially driven leader who takes full ownership of outcomes. The ideal candidate brings:
- 3+ years of sales experience, including people leadership or team mentorship responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and hold people accountable to measurable results
- Strong command of CRM systems, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-native tools and process automation—you're excited to build this capability, not just maintain existing systems
- Native-level German language skills (essential requirement)
- Professional English proficiency
- A strong sense of ownership—you take responsibility for results, not just activities
