Senior Midmarket Account Executive: Cloud Security

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization that specializes in comprehensive cyber risk portfolio management. Our client is experiencing rapid growth and needs experienced sales professionals who can deliver cloud security and risk management solutions to mid-market customers. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas in a quota-carrying role
• Generate leads through referrals from your network and existing customers to accelerate ramp-up
• Proactively cultivate opportunities beyond standard lead generation systems
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle, developing deep understanding of their business and security requirements
• Maintain accurate and current CRM records for all prospects and active accounts
• Execute extensive multi-channel outreach to build sustainable pipeline and secure regular prospect meetings
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with product and service recommendations aligned to customer outcomes
• Coordinate handoffs and communicate regularly with customers and internal teams during transition to implementation
• Provide weekly reporting on key sales metrics

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of direct sales experience selling to mid-market and enterprise companies with proven quota achievement
• 2–5 years of experience in cloud security sales, with demonstrated success in IT, SaaS, or security sales
• Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills with C-level executives, board members, and key stakeholders
• Strategic deal navigation abilities with talent for adapting to customer needs and customizing solutions
• Proficiency with CRM, collaboration, and quoting tools
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and drive to maximize commission and bonus opportunities
• Proven track record of success in remote work environments while consistently meeting quota
• Understanding of cybersecurity technologies demonstrated through work experience, certifications, or relevant degree
• Background in risk management sales, SaaS, or related security sectors

Pay

Our client offers a base salary of $80,000–$100,000 based on experience, with on-target earnings of $250,000–$300,000+.
