Projektentwickler – Ostdeutschland (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Developer to lead wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects across Eastern Germany from initial site identification through to permitting and handover to construction.

You will own the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of economically viable, technically feasible, and permit-ready developments. Key duties include:

• Identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable sites and land for renewable energy projects, including feasibility studies and land agreements
• Managing permitting and planning processes, coordinating external consultants, planners, authorities, and project partners
• Assessing grid connection opportunities, optimizing project layouts, and evaluating economic viability
• Controlling project budgets, timelines, risks, and overall development targets
• Building and maintaining relationships with landowners, municipalities, regulatory bodies, grid operators, and business partners
• Preparing projects for financing, marketing, sale, or transition to the construction phase

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in a technical or energy-related field
• Professional experience in renewable energy project development, grid integration, or grid connection planning
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and foundational understanding of grid technical standards
• Analytical, structured, and self-directed working style
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
• Professional-level German and advanced English proficiency required
