Customer Service Advisor (Trade Support )

We are representing a confidential membership platform in the home services sector. They are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their trade support team in Lakeside Portsmouth. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for trade professionals who need assistance, guidance, or support with their membership. You'll handle enquiries across multiple channels, solve problems thoughtfully, and help members get the most value from the platform.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, chats, and emails from trade members with professionalism and care
• Provide guidance on platform features, tools, and membership benefits to help users achieve their business goals
• Resolve complex customer issues using critical thinking, sound judgement, and a methodical approach
• Escalate cases appropriately and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure swift resolution
• Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement and reduce repeat contact
• Identify opportunities to add value and recommend relevant tools or upgrades that align with member needs

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within a membership-based or B2B environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain clear, calm, and compassionate during challenging conversations
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a logical, methodical approach to resolving issues
• Confidence working at pace and adapting quickly to changing priorities
• Technical proficiency with systems such as Salesforce Service Cloud, GSuite, and AI-powered support tools
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to work cross-functionally to deliver results
