M&H Valve – Foundry Clean Up

Join McWane, Inc. as a Foundry Clean Up specialist with our M&H Valve division in Anniston, AL. This is a full-time position where you'll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient foundry manufacturing environment.

What This Role Involves

As a Foundry Clean Up team member, you'll be the backbone of operational excellence at our M&H Valve foundry facility in Anniston. This hands-on position involves maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout our manufacturing environment—work that directly supports production efficiency, equipment longevity, and the safety of everyone on the team. Working in a foundry is dynamic and fast-paced; you'll engage with manufacturing processes firsthand, gaining exposure to industrial metal production while taking pride in keeping our facility in top condition. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety standards will contribute meaningfully to M&H Valve's reputation for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize work areas, equipment, and facilities throughout the foundry daily
• Remove, sort, and manage scrap materials and waste according to company specifications
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize foundry floor areas and support zones
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and requirements specific to foundry operations
• Assist with material handling, stacking, and preparation for production
• Report maintenance issues, spills, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
• Maintain compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials regularly
• Physical stamina and comfort working in foundry conditions including heat, noise, and industrial settings
• Strong commitment to safety practices and attention to cleanliness standards
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn foundry processes and equipment
• Basic communication skills and reliability in attendance
