About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI research organization seeking a Marketing AI Researcher to join their team. This role sits at the intersection of product marketing expertise and cutting-edge AI development. Our client works with leading AI labs to improve how artificial intelligence handles real professional workflows, and they need experienced marketers who understand the gap between what AI promises and what it actually delivers.
This position is based in London with flexible remote or in-office options.
Responsibilities
- Design realistic marketing workflow challenges to evaluate state-of-the-art AI systems, including mid-progress launch decks, campaign reviews requiring new data integration, and positioning materials during rebrands
- Create evaluation frameworks that capture what "good" marketing work actually looks like in measurable terms
- Collaborate with AI engineering and research teams to implement and test systems against real-world marketing scenarios
- Document the specific points where current AI tools fall short in professional marketing contexts
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing roles with substantial work building GTM strategies, product launches, and positioning materials
- Deep practical experience creating presentation decks in PowerPoint for professional marketing contexts
- Ability to articulate and define quality standards precisely enough that others can evaluate work against them
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn concepts in AI and data science
- First-hand frustration with AI tools that produce unusable marketing deliverables
