Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Chief Financial Officer based in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will:

• Own consolidated profit and loss statements, balance sheet management, cash flow analysis, budgeting and comprehensive financial planning across multiple business units
• Build detailed financial models for existing businesses, new product launches, market expansion initiatives and strategic investments
• Review and analyze revenue streams, cost structures, margin performance, unit economics and cash requirements across all business lines
• Drive capital allocation decisions based on rigorous business performance analysis and expected return metrics
• Oversee treasury operations, tax strategy, audit processes, internal controls and financial reporting across all Group entities
• Lead financing initiatives, investment opportunities, potential acquisitions and other strategic transactions as needed
• Establish scalable finance systems and develop teams capable of supporting expansion into additional markets and business verticals

What We're Looking For

• Senior finance leadership experience within technology, fintech, internet or other high-growth business environments
• Strong background across corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, and business finance functions
• Deep expertise in profit and loss management, cash flow forecasting, unit economics analysis and capital allocation frameworks
• Proven ability to personally build and rigorously challenge complex financial models
• Demonstrated experience operating across multiple business units, legal entities or international markets
• Hands-on operational approach with willingness to work directly through models, forecasts and complex financial challenges rather than delegating all technical work
