The Opportunity
Farm Boy Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Cashier for our Ottawa store. In this part-time role, you'll be the friendly face at checkout, processing customer transactions efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of service. You'll play an essential part in creating positive shopping experiences that keep customers returning to Farm Boy.
What You'll Do
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions securely
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service at all times
- Bag customer items with care and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stock rotation and merchandising as needed
- Answer customer questions about products and store policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to support store operations
