About This Position

This is a part-time position where you'll operate the checkout, process transactions accurately, and create positive experiences for customers every shift. Working in a fast-paced retail grocery environment, you'll handle cash, card payments, and be the final touchpoint in every shopper's journey through Farm Boy Inc.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate a till system, scanning items and processing payment transactions quickly and accurately
• Greet customers, answer questions about products, and provide friendly, helpful service
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments, ensuring proper change and receipts
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area throughout your shift
• Assist with bagging groceries and offer assistance to customers as needed
• Monitor inventory at the checkout and communicate shortages to management
• Follow all food safety and retail compliance procedures
