We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead strategic and operational sales efforts during an exciting phase of expansion. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team while driving performance culture
  • Plan, coordinate, and control all sales activities across the organization
  • Define strategic goals and develop concrete measures to achieve them
  • Own sales KPIs and targets including pricing strategy, cohort management, and product-level sales strategy development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans in close coordination with executive leadership
  • Manage budget and forecast planning with the finance department
  • Report to executive leadership on revenue, targets, and team development
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, particularly within the pharmacy sector
  • Manage key accounts and represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Support product launches and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Deliver compelling presentations and customized solution proposals
  • Organize and conduct internal training, coaching, and professional development for your team
  • Identify and develop new sales channels and provide decision-ready analyses for product procurement

What We're Looking For

  • Entrepreneurial leadership personality with strong sales orientation and focus on growth, revenue, and performance
  • Several years of experience in sales and in leading and developing successful teams
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience with medicinal cannabis is a plus
  • Completed degree in business or economics
  • Proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing sales teams to ambitious growth targets
  • Ability to nurture talent, delegate responsibility, and establish a high-performance culture
  • Comfortable in dynamic start-up or scale-up environments with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality
  • Data-driven decision maker with experience using forecasts, dashboards, business models, and performance analytics
  • Experience in strategic sales planning with ability to create structures, processes, and control mechanisms that enable sustainable growth
  • Capability to manage important customer relationships and operate confidently at decision-maker level
  • Ability to create reliable revenue forecasts and consistently steer team toward goal achievement
  • Clear prioritization skills with focus on measures that deliver the greatest business success
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
