About the Role
The Finance Planner will play a critical role in supporting Dr Reddy's financial planning, analysis, and forecasting functions. You'll partner with senior management and business units to develop comprehensive financial models, monitor performance against targets, and identify opportunities for improved financial efficiency. This is a hands-on position combining analytical rigour with business partnership to influence decision-making across the organisation.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts across multiple business units and cost centres
- Perform detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives
- Create financial models and dashboards that communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders
- Monitor business unit performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes and reporting
- Collaborate with operations, commercial, and finance teams to improve planning processes and financial controls
- Prepare executive summaries and presentations on financial performance and forecasts
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
- 2–5 years of professional experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting (experience in pharmaceutical or large-scale manufacturing environments is advantageous)
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and business intelligence tools
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, P&L management, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation abilities; capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial audiences
- Professional certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
