Accounts Receivable Operations Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an Accounts Receivable Operations Analyst to join their revenue cycle team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on financial performance through data analysis and operational insights.

In this role, you'll analyze accounts receivable, denial, and claims data to reduce aging, prevent denials, accelerate cash collections, and improve overall revenue cycle performance. You'll develop dashboards, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support hospital and professional billing operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key decision makers to identify and solve business and operational challenges within the revenue cycle
• Interpret data, identify trends, utilize benchmark data, and create data visualizations to support business operations
• Develop specifications for analytic and reporting needs through participation in project teams and meetings with internal stakeholders
• Utilize various databases and query tools to gather data and ensure all requirements are well-defined
• Ensure data integrity and quality while providing insights into daily operations and overall business performance
• Work closely with technical and build teams to establish reporting and dashboards within applications
• Develop and maintain dashboards including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Partner with cross-functional teams to discover needs and proactively offer solutions
• Evaluate, analyze, and develop reporting and analytical tools to analyze departmental performance indicators
• Support new and ongoing operational reporting needs, business process redesign, and process improvement initiatives through data insights

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of relevant experience in operations analysis, revenue cycle, or related field
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferred
• Deep technical knowledge and thorough understanding of business operations
• Proficiency with databases and query tools for data gathering and analysis
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex projects
• Excellent communication skills to present information clearly and concisely
• Experience with accounts receivable, denial management, or claims data preferred
