Business Analyst – PLM & Healthcare Domain

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Product Lifecycle Management and healthcare systems to join our full-time team in Erie, PA. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic bridge between healthcare organizations' business needs and our technical delivery capabilities.

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst focused on PLM and healthcare domain expertise, you'll drive successful implementations by translating complex healthcare operational requirements into technical solutions. Your deep understanding of product lifecycle management processes and healthcare industry standards will enable clients to optimize their operations, strengthen regulatory compliance, and accelerate time-to-market for medical devices and healthcare products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for PLM system implementations
• Map current-state healthcare processes and recommend improvements aligned with PLM best practices and industry regulations
• Create comprehensive business documentation including functional specifications, process workflows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure solution architecture meets documented business and compliance requirements
• Conduct system configuration reviews and participate in testing activities to validate solution functionality and data integrity
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and support client adoption through training, process documentation, and go-live support

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Product Lifecycle Management or healthcare technology implementations
• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and manage stakeholder expectations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and contribute to team success
