We are representing a confidential gaming studio with a global footprint, currently seeking a talented Composer / Sound Designer to join their creative audio team in Bulgaria. You will craft immersive in-game music and sound effects that elevate player experiences across a portfolio of online slot games.

Responsibilities

• Create original in-game music across multiple genres including orchestral, rock, electronic, dance, and traditional styles for online slot games
• Design high-quality sound effects and musical elements for animations and game events
• Prepare game audio packages in multiple sound formats for integration into live products
• Edit and mix sound for promotional video content
• Collaborate closely with game producers, artists, animators, developers, and product teams to bring creative concepts to life
• Guide creative direction through music references, concepts, and adaptive audio strategies

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of professional experience in composing and sound design within the gaming industry
• Strong passion for composing music and creating engaging audio experiences for players
• Access to a home studio with your own music production setup and extensive SFX libraries
• Proven ability to compose original music across multiple genres
• Deep understanding of adaptive and interactive game audio, including loopable music, gameplay-driven transitions, anticipation builds, and bonus stingers
• Demonstrated experience creating high-quality sound effects for games and interactive products
• Strong audio editing, arranging, mixing, and mastering skills
• Advanced proficiency with professional DAWs such as Ableton, Nuendo, Pro Tools, or similar
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard plugins, virtual instruments, and modern production workflows
• Comfortable playing and recording musical instruments as part of the creative process
• Understanding of player behaviour and how audio influences engagement and game performance
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
• Proficient communication skills in English

Bonus qualifications: Prior experience in the slot or casino gaming industry is a strong advantage.
