Sr. Manager, Master Data Delivery

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential manufacturing client seeking a Senior Manager, Master Data Delivery. This remote-based role (United States) focuses on leading the collection, cleansing, standardization, and maintenance of Product Master Data. You'll serve as a trusted partner for the data community while driving operational excellence and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of high-quality Product Master Data as a business-critical data product, executing in alignment with defined quality standards
• Lead day-to-day Product Master Data operations including data collection, cleansing, enrichment, maintenance, aggregation, validation, and issue resolution while meeting operational deadlines and SLAs
• Set team priorities supporting the Product Master Data Roadmap; allocate work, monitor delivery risks, and coach team members for strong execution
• Serve as subject matter expert by analyzing complex data issues, identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and ensuring adherence to standards and business rules
• Devise solutions for data preparation based on limited information and adapt approaches as issues are identified
• Analyze and upgrade existing data delivery processes, including complete redesign of workflows when necessary
• Engage with business partners to report audience-specific updates to leadership and project teams with clarity and focus on business outcomes
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT to resolve data, process, and system issues while recommending practical enhancements
• Lead small to mid-sized projects and maintain documentation, workflow guidance, and stakeholder communication for continuous improvement
• Utilize technical expertise in Generative AI, Data Modeling, SQL, Python, Alteryx or similar tools to enable ETL processes of datasets with 100k+ rows from multiple sources into Snowflake, Salsify, or other target systems
• Build team capabilities in data democratization to answer ad hoc business questions about product data
• Partner with Enterprise Data teams to ensure Product Master Data is effectively leveraged for analytics, AI, and system integrations
• Drive annual realignment of product hierarchies for business reporting

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Marketing, or similar field
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, IT, business systems development, product management, or related field
• Growth mindset, openness to feedback, excellent coaching skills, and desire to supervise and develop a team
• Ability to identify problems, break them into deliverable tasks, and coach team members through delivery
• Strong business acumen, customer focus, and commitment to building a customer service organization that delivers valuable outcomes
• Motivation for consistently delivering high-quality work as part of a high-performing team
• Strong root-cause identification and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to translate business questions into data transformations and outputs
• Process-improvement mindset with drive to challenge existing processes and reimagine solutions leveraging AI tools
• Demonstrated skill in communicating complex information clearly to employees and stakeholders
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, JSON, Snowflake, Salsify or other PIM systems, automation tools, and Generative AI
• Experience independently extracting, cleaning, transforming, validating and automating analysis of large complex datasets with 100k+ rows and multiple source systems
• Experience improving accuracy and completeness through reusable workflows
