Full-Stack Software Engineer – Remote | U.S. Hours

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their remote engineering team. This is a hands-on role working U.S. business hours from Egypt, building and maintaining modern web applications across the full stack.

You'll work across the complete development lifecycle—from user-facing interfaces and backend services to API design, database architecture, cloud deployments, and production support. This role requires strong collaboration with product and design stakeholders while leveraging modern development practices to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability
• Translate product and technical requirements into working software features
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code across the technology stack

Frontend Engineering

• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Troubleshoot frontend performance and functionality issues
• Collaborate with product and design teams on implementation

Backend, APIs & Integrations

• Develop and maintain backend services and application logic
• Build APIs and integrations with third-party systems
• Design reliable data flows between applications and external platforms
• Ensure backend systems remain scalable and maintainable

Database & Data Management

• Design and work with application databases and data models
• Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases to maintain data integrity
• Support database queries, application logic, and performance optimization

Quality & Deployment

• Troubleshoot bugs and production issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning
• Support application releases and production deployments
• Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows using Git and version-control best practices
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework
• Backend development experience using a modern programming language and/or framework
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience building or integrating APIs
• Strong Git and version-control experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Professional working English proficiency
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Track record building production-grade full-stack applications
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with cloud-native applications
• Direct collaboration experience with product and design teams
