Regional Service Sourcing Leader

We are representing a confidential global medical technology organization in their search for a Regional Service Sourcing Leader based in Brazil. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is working directly with this client to identify an experienced sourcing professional who can develop and execute strategic procurement initiatives across Latin America.

This role will oversee approximately $100M in service-related spend across categories including field services, mechanical installation, and local sourcing. You'll work at the intersection of procurement, operations, and commercial teams to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance while supporting business growth and customer commitments throughout the LATAM region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sourcing and category strategies for service categories across Latin America, including local source items, field services, mechanical installation, accessories, and third-party service labor
• Support sales, operations, and commercial teams with sourcing strategies for public bids, customer opportunities, and service delivery commitments
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and transition activities across the region
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through competitive bidding, market analysis, supplier negotiations, value engineering, and process simplification
• Manage supplier relationships and performance across quality, delivery, cost, lead time, compliance, and service responsiveness metrics
• Identify supplier performance gaps and lead corrective action plans with clear ownership, timelines, and follow-up discipline
• Coordinate with global sourcing leadership to align Latin America strategies with broader category direction while addressing local market requirements
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, finance, legal, compliance, engineering, and business teams across the region
• Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, risk assessment, and competitive analysis to inform sourcing decisions
• Identify and mitigate sourcing and supply chain risks including financial, regulatory, operational, geopolitical, and supplier dependency concerns
• Ensure sourcing execution complies with internal policies, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and local laws
• Monitor, report, and present sourcing performance, savings, supplier risks, and key initiatives to regional and global leadership
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization opportunities within LATAM service sourcing processes

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Significant experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or strategic sourcing, preferably in services, indirect procurement, or healthcare-related categories
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills
• Proven track record driving cost savings, supplier performance improvement, risk mitigation, and measurable business impact
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across different functions, countries, and priorities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to use data to support recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and leadership
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated environments
• Experience supporting public bids, service operations, supplier qualification, or customer-critical sourcing initiatives
• Expertise in purchased services such as field services, maintenance, mechanical installation, logistics, and related service support categories
• Experience with sourcing tools, ERP systems, supplier onboarding platforms, and reporting dashboards
• Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification or experience
• Strong business acumen, ownership mindset, and ability to operate with urgency when customer or operational impact is at risk
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results in a complex regional environment
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and global partners
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
