Account Executive, Commercial – Mountain West

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for an Account Executive, Commercial - Mountain West. Our client is a leader in cloud-based security solutions, and this role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives with commercial accounts across the Mountain West region (Colorado, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming).

This is a remote position where you'll build strategic relationships with decision-makers, develop long-term account strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex security challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and customer stakeholders, including c-suite decision-makers
• Develop long-term account strategies aligned with customer business goals
• Execute full-cycle sales processes from prospecting through close
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs
• Contribute to strategic account planning and territory development
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client business objectives and aligning solutions accordingly
• Leverage channel partnerships effectively to meet and exceed sales targets

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Progressive selling experience engaging with commercial accounts
• Track record of closing net new logos and meeting sales targets
• Proficiency in strategic sales planning and territory management
• Established relationships with current and prospective customers (strongly preferred)
• Deep understanding of how technology facilitates high-level business goals
• Experience leveraging channel partnerships to achieve sales objectives
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Owner mentality with strong problem-solving abilities
• High-trust collaboration skills and growth mindset
