Advisor, HR Information Systems – Cornerstone

Join Cardinal Health as an Advisor, HR Information Systems in Tallahassee, Leon County. This full-time position gives you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in human resources technology to support critical HR initiatives across the organization.

Position Summary

As an HR Information Systems Advisor, you'll be instrumental to Cardinal Health's human resources operations, managing the systems and technology infrastructure that enables workforce management, talent development, and organizational planning. Based on-site in Tallahassee, you'll partner with HR business partners to ensure our information systems reliably support recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, learning initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and long-term strategic workforce planning. You'll be the bridge between technology and human resources, making sure our people and systems work seamlessly together.

Core Duties

• Administer and maintain HR information systems, performing regular updates, patches, and system optimization
• Provide technical support to HR staff and end users, troubleshooting issues and explaining system functionality
• Gather requirements from HR teams and lead the testing and implementation of system enhancements
• Manage user access controls, data governance, and security protocols within HR systems
• Monitor system health, identify performance issues, and coordinate resolutions with IT partners
• Generate reports and maintain documentation to support HR analytics and strategic decision-making
• Train new users and create guides to promote effective adoption of HR technology

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience administering HRIS platforms, talent management systems, or similar HR technology
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Working knowledge of HR business processes, employment practices, and system configuration
• Excellent communication skills—you translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to balance multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
