About the Role

As a Scientist III - CMC at Cardinal Health, you'll drive critical work in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance. This role centers on method development, process optimization, and ensuring regulatory compliance across our manufacturing operations. You'll apply advanced analytical and technical expertise to solve complex challenges in chemistry and manufacturing controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, effective products.

What You'll Do

• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods and manufacturing processes
• Conduct quality control testing and release testing for pharmaceutical products
• Support regulatory submissions by preparing and maintaining CMC documentation
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process issues, recommending data-driven solutions
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams across multiple sites
• Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and company standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical CMC, analytical chemistry, or manufacturing support
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, method validation, and statistical analysis
• Experience with FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, and regulatory documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities for cross-team collaboration
